Design DNA

The CB01 "End of the Machine" is a raw and "naked" watch by design an technical conception. Essential in all its lines and finishes. It has been designed and produced to have the least impact on the environment. This inlcudes the PVD coating process we used to colour the dial on this special version, which is not environmentally damaging.

Only the functionally necessary has been produced. Nothing is superfluous, like it should be for a tool watch.

End of the machine?

To make this limited edition we used stainless steel leftovers from our factory. Repurposing is one of the ways to make watchmaking more sustainable and the CB01 "End of the Machine" integrates this approach for what regards the metal parts and, of course, the movement. Only 8 pcs have been made of the CB01-14060.

Circular production

When we first approached the project, we thought that
we just had to use recycled materials to succeed.
Soon we’ve realized that a true sustainable project is much more
than that. It's about finding what is needed from an existing “circle”,
transform it into a new “circle” and, finally,
make it ready for its future “circle”.

Local sourcing

All components of the CBO1 are locally sourced. For example the box is made with Swiss sustainable forest wood coming from our region. And it's hand made.
